Today I would like to share with you the "Fabulous Friend Flower & Metal Embossed Gift Box".  Today I would like to share with you another project that combines Lee Conrey's beautiful Flower Tutorial and Rock Star Black Metal Sheet!  I wanted to create a small box that could serve as a party favor and/or a small gift box and decided to use the Box #2 Bigz XL Die.  This box is so easy to construct and will perfectly hold candy, jewelry, and much more.  The Rock Star Black Metal Sheet adds the perfect touch of elegance; I embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder and created an elegant tag using the Oval All Stamp Set.  A rich stamped look was created by heat embossing the stamped image and attached to the Scalloped Oval Punch.  I also added some rhinestone jewels for a touch of bling. I am jumping up and down with excitement with today's post.  I love it and have decided this ensemble will be one of the projects the ladies in my three clubs will do this month.  This new Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper is beautiful and adds a dazzling touch to today's project.

When I designed this "Metal Embossed Mini Gift Box", I wanted to create something that would serve as an envelope for the "Butterfly Easel Card".  I couldn't imagine stuffing this beautiful butterfly in an envelope for it to be crushed and so this idea was born.   When I received my new pack of "Paisley Petal Designer Series Paper" I knew this would be the perfect combination.  I wanted a border and so I created it using "Barn Red Metal Sheets" and the "Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch".  I added some Rhinestone Jewels and used a simple stamp on the lower right hand corner with more rhinestone jewels and some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.  Simple yet elegant!

 

I wanted to add something more to this box and so I created a "Paisley Petals Metal Embossed Gift Card Holder".  I took a No. 1 Coin Envelope, dressed it up with designer series paper, Barn Red Metal Sheets, and Rhinestone Jewels for a dazzling look.  This gift card holder comfortably fits in this box along with the card. Isn't this dazzling?  How perfect is this for a complete gift! Mini card, mini gift box, and gift card. You can also place money in the envelope, and even a pair of earrings.  I love this gift card holder and you will too.

 

 
The instructions for creating this butterfly is in yesterday's post.  The "Barn Red Metal Embossed Butterfly Easel Card" beautifully coordinates with this ensemble.  What a perfect gift ensemble or table favor this would make. I added Rhinestone Jewels instead of Pearls.

Update on Orders...

Good Morning Stampers,

Hope you are all doing well and keeping warm.  As many of you are aware, there were major snowstorms throughout the USA this past week.  New Mexico was hit but not as bad as other states.  The bad part is that the gas company shut off the gas on 25,000 homes and businesses in my area alone. The worst part is that the other day it felt like -45F with the wind chill.

We are without gas and have experienced some electrical blackouts in certain areas due to the excessive amount of electricity being used. Currently, we have no gas in our own home and are keeping warm by the fireplace and lots of blankets at night.  We also have no access to our stove, oven, water heater (for showers/baths) due to all of them running on a gas line. The crockpot is becoming our best friend. Not only have we and our friends been affected by this but so have businesses as they have been closed. 

I have metal sheet orders and the remaining orders of 2010 Collection CD's ready to ship BUT I can't do this until Monday.  The gas company is looking at starting to restore homes and businesses this weekend and we are praying they do this fast. 

Thank God for the hospital has a back up generator system.  I will be 36 weeks pregnant on Tuesday and we will be going in to remove the cerclage. 

Remaining Metal Sheet Orders and CD's are ready to ship and we are just waiting on our community to come back to life on Monday.  Thank God my mom came to visit from Miami and is helping with the kids as my bedrest comes to an end on Tuesday.

Be My Valentine Mini Cards....

 
Good Afternoon Stampers,

I am excited to share with you today's post as it is really easy to mass produce.  These little mini cards feature the new "Love Impressions Designer Series Paper" and "Be My Valentine Stamp Set" found in the new mini catalog. These items are great just in time for Valentine's Day and I am sure you will love them as much as I do.

I love this size of cards as they are very easy to mass produce and Stampin' Up! sells these cute little mini envelopes in which these fit perfectly.  As you can see, I used the dazzling "Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit" found in the main catalog.  This embosslit is perfect for Valentine's Day projects and looks dazzling in Barn Red Metal Sheet and Kiss Me Pink Metal Sheet.  I sanded the "Scalloped Heart of Hearts" piece so you can see the little mini hearts coming through.  I also stamped the "Be My Valentine Stamp Set" in Basic Black Craft Ink and Heat Embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.  I cut out this cute banner and mounted it to the heart with Sticky Strip.  Isn't it just dazzling? Below is another sample for you to view using the same pack of designer series paper and Barn Red and Kiss Me Pink Metal Sheets. The picture on top features the XOXO pattern and the picture below features the Mini Hearts from the "Love Impressions Designer Series Paper".

Quick Update on Metal Sheets!

Good Morning Stampers,

I wanted to stop by to drop you a quick note to let you know that I am placing a BIG order for metal sheets today.  Why do I say this?  Because my supplier will be closed for two weeks and so this is the last order I get to place before their return. 

Please place your orders this morning, so I can place my big order and I can make sure that everybody has what they need for their projects.  Right now Barn Red, Rock Star Black, Hot Pink Diamond, and Kiss Me Pink, and Dark Chocolate are going quickly in preparation for Valentine's Day.  It is imperative you get your order in so I can get ALL you need. Peace Christmas Ornament and Metal Embossed Gift Box...

 
Good Morning Stampers,

Hope you are all doing well and continuing to prepare for the holidays.  Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.  We are now 27 weeeks and hanging in there.  I was put on Terbutaline, anti-contraction medication, yesterday and that was quite interesting.  I forgot how bad you get the jitters while you adjust but it made my contractions go away, so it is all worth it to give my baby girl a chance to stay inside me longer.  We want to thank you for your prayers and ask you to continue praying for our family.

Today, I wanted to share with you a project I made a using the "Join in the Cheer" Decorative Strip.  I love this decorative strip and the beauty and simplicity of this ornament created.  These ornaments are very easy to create in no time.  For this project I used the following products: Stampin' Up! What a beautiful and simple gift, but you need a dazzling box to complete the look.  I found this plain box at my local Dollar Tree Store, I pulled out the ornament, cut off the little plastic tab, punched a hole in the box with my Crop-a-Dile, ran a popped up Vintage Brad through the hole, and secured it with Crystal Effects. Then I painted our beautiful Satin Ribbon with silver acrylic paint, let it dry, and wrapped it around the box for a beautiful elegant look. I also added a beautiful snowflake from the Northern Frost Decorative Strip and attached a beautiful rhinestone brad to the center. This is a very inexpensive gift to make and is perfect for school personnel or office gift and perfect to store your ornament for years to come. The picture below shows you the dazzling new look.

Update on Baby:  Went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and had the test to determine if the baby is at risk of being born soon.  We now have to wait until Monday for test results. ugh! Thank you for all your encouraging words and prayers.  Please continue to keep us in your prayers and I will let you know as soon as the results are in.  We are asking God to make baby and cervix stay where they need to and ask that you pray the same.

WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS: I also wanted to ask you to please be praying for me and the baby in the next couple of days, weeks, and months ahead.  We went to the doctor yesterday and I was told my cervix has shortened by 1 cm and the doctor is now concerned. She send me to Labor and Delivery to be monitored yesterday afternoon and today I have to go back to see her to get a test done that will determine if I am at risk for delivering in the next 2 weeks.  If this test comes back positive, they will start me on a steroid treatment to help develop the babies' lungs quicker.  I have been down this road 3 times prior and it is a very emotional time for us.  I am praying and asking you to please join me in prayer for my baby girl.  Please pray that when we go back to the doctor this afternoon everything will have turned around.  Although we are at viability for the baby, the quality of life that she would have if she were born right now would not be good.  I will update you all as soon as we know something.  Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

UPDATE ON ORDERS: The first batch of orders has shipped out today.  Planners and tutorials have also been sent out.  Make sure to check your junk folder.  I have some people I emailed asking them what planners they wanted.  Once I receive those, I will send those planners out.  We will continue sending out orders on a daily basis and should have everybody taken care of by Friday.  Please rest assured that we have friends stepping in to help process orders so all will be taken care of. Cyber Monday and Peacock Metal Embossed Tea Light Candle Holder Gift Box....

 
Happy Cyber Monday Stampers,

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend and are now getting ready for the upcoming holiday season.  As I have been in the stores, I noticed that a lot of holiday decor now comes in non-traditional colors and I have loved some of the colors I have seen.  I decided to pick one of those non-traditional colors and create another candle holder but I used "Peacock Metal Sheet".  It is truly different than anything I would use but it is so dazzling.  I love it!  For the cardstock, I used "Bermuda Bay Cardstock" 12" X 12" cardstock that is in the "Stampin' Up!
