Hi Monica,

I love these sweet boxes! I want to know how to make them. They look like they are fun to make. As to your question, how about giving them to your mailman, neighbors, your doctor and nurses, your hair dresser. These are important people in our lives. :o) Thanks.

These little boxes are so cute.I love the little metal hearts. As for your question you could give them to your co-workers.Love your blog!!! Dianne Bell

These boxes are so cute! How about the people who plow your streets, bus drivers, school cafeteria workers, teachers aides, hall monitors, UPS and FED EX drivers, Garbage Haulers, Local police officers, people at your city hall, coaches, bank tellers, cab drivers, the person who does your nails, your pizza delivery driver or whatever food you order, people at the homeless shelters, families in shelters for domestic violence, children in pediatric hospital units.
That's all I can think of for now! Hope this gives you lots of ideas!
Thanks for the blog candy, hope I win. They are great!

I love your work with the metal. It really adds a lot to your projects!

Would love to know how to make these boxes!! Wonder how they would turn out with metal sheets??!!!

I would love to know how to make the boxes. Wouldn't the mailman, UPS/FedEx driver, cart person at the grocery store, WalMart greeter be surprised to receive one? Of course teachers, scout leaders and coaches too.
It is such a nice and unexpected gesture. Wouldn't they be great to distribute to a retirement home?
Thanks for giving me an idea.

Monica, I just love your idea of giving the little boxes as random acts of kindness. It's a wonderful idea and the possibilities are endless. How about leaving one in the mailbox for the mailman, don't forget Mr. Brown when he comes with your next order. Your hairdresser, pharmacist, receptionist and nurses at your doctor's office and I truly like the idea of giving them to strangers you meet while standing in line.

I'd love to have the directions for the little boxes. They are so cute.
Kate

Monica,
The boxes are really cute. I love the ones with the impressions polka dots. It is a wonderful idea to show your children to reach out to others. I think a nursing home would be a great idea, the elderly are often lonely and love to see kids.

I would love to learn how to make those great little boxes! I love the idea of just handing them out to random people you come across through your day. What about the checker at the grocery store or favorite craft store.

I just received your email and see it here- LOVE those little metal butterflies! Thanks for sharing the projects!

These are adorable. I would love the pattern and instructions. TFS

Monica, I am so sorry to hear you and your family ended your vacation ill. It is nice to have wonderful friends and neighbors. My neighbor was sick earlier this week and I made her chicken soup.

This week's Valentine Extravaganza project is truly dazzling. It is so very pretty.

I love your little Valentine boxes in today's post. It would be great if you posted the measurements. They would be perfect to hand out at the post office, doctor's office, etc. I especially think it would be nice to give out at a nursing home.

How about your local firemen and police personnel. They all need love too!! Perhaps a care package to Haiti. What a dazzling and thoughful idea.

I would love to know how to make these boxes. I haven't seen anyone write yet about your hair stylist, I know mine is just the greatest. How about Grandkids, grown kids, DH's, Mil's, Sil's, your vet, your Dentist, Dental Assistant, Dry Cleaner's, your Boss earn brownie points for this one. How about your Babysitter, pop a couple in the mail to some distant friends and surprise them, RAK's, put some into a small bag and just hand them out to whomever you come across on Valentine"s Day they won't be expecting it and you will put a smile on thier face! The grocery Check-out Clerk, your Florist I bet they would appreciate being recognized on this day since they are super busy. How about Customers, or your Demo or your favorite Blog Writer! Whew, that was tough on the brain, gotta go now, but love the metal Butterflies. Have a wonderful day!

I would love to know how to make these, I think you could give them to people you meet everyday, like school teachers, the school janitor, the bus driver, have a stash made to carry becasue when you meet someone and do a random act of kindness, you surprise them and it in turns keeps on going ,thanks for sharing
Eileen

These are very cute. I think you should give them to kids classmates or any of the people you regularly see. The checkout girl at the corner store, the person who makes your coffee at starbucks. Even the postman or garbageman. And don't forget Mr. UPS.

Monica your little boxes are adorable! If would suggest that they would be the perfect gift for seniors. There are so many lonely elderly people in retirement homes that don't have family or friends and I know that a small gift such as these little treat boxes would be much appreciated on Valentines Day!

sooo so cute, You really inspire me. cant wait to try to make some boxes for my coworkers. please do share your recipie with us. I have been following your blog for about a month now thanks for your insight you are helping me to be a better demonstrator! I am going to put metal butterflies in my necklace when I get it! thanks for the inspiration. Blessing Gail

I am going to give these to people that cross my path week after week but I don't even know their name (crossing guard at school, convenience store clerk where I get gas, Korean lady working at the donut shop that I visit every Monday, etc. What a great idea!

Can you send me the directions for making the boxes, please.

kandisbecher@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for the email you sent me on the valentine box's, They are awesome, and the technique with the butterfly's can't wait to try them out. Great Job!

Your little boxes are adorable. Would love to make some to give out. What a thoughtful idea to give them out as RAK's and teaching your children the gift of giving.

I'd like to add to the long list, insurance person, doctors and nurses. Maybe go to the hospital to the childrens ward (with permission of course), day care, Ronald McDonald house, local firestation, police officers.
I'm sure where ever you go and whom you RAK, they will love it and be so appreciative.

Those boxes are adorable!!! I would love to learn how to make these little boxes. We are looking for something for our girl scout troop to make and take to nursing homes and to give to their parents. I am so excited!!!

I would love the directions for the Valentine's Day Itty Bitty Boxes. They would be great to make for teachers at school. Could you please print the instructions on your website???

Wow, thanks for the insightful post. I look forward to reading more from you.
