I {Heart} Hearts Metal Valentine's Day Card and Much More...........

Wow, I am so touched by each of your responses about the Random Acts of Kindness.  I am so encouraged to know that many of you will be doing this.  What a great impact we can each make if we reach out in our community.  We have decided that we will make our family Valentine's Day cards for children at Ronald McDonald's House.  I know this will be a great experience for the children as they will learn more about giving.  Our goal is to continue doing activities such as these with our children.  I especially love the suggestion that was made about carrying some cards in your purse and just randomly giving them out.  We are going to do that, too.  I can't wait to hear how each of you reach out in your own community and the impact you make.  Please make sure to share.

Valentine's Day Itty Bitty Boxes and 2 Winners!

Good Afternoon Stampers,

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love.  Love of a spouse, friends, family, coworkers etc. We all have people in our lives that we love and that love us. Who can you think of?  When was the last time you let somebody know you cared by your acts of kindness?   My club members/friends demonstrated their love for my family this week. As you all know we took the children to Disney and came home on Sunday. Unfortunately, I came home sick and quickly shared it with my family.  Due to being so sick, I had to reschedule one of my clubs, but right away my club members "my friends" stepped in to show us they cared. They have shown their love to us by calling us, praying for us, helping us, and making soup for us.  I have no words to describe how much these expressions of love have meant to us.  It blesses my heart to know that we are loved; they have gone out of their way to help us even in the midst of snowy conditions we are experiencing that is making it difficult to drive.  Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart!  I love you all!

When was the last time you did something for somebody for no special reason? Today's post is a great small gift you can make for somebody.  Can you think of somebody who can make these for? Residents at a nursing home, stranger on the street, patients in a hospital, cashier at the grocery store, the waiter at the restaurant, the guy at the gas station, the lady behind you at the grocery store?   How about making these with your Sunday School class and having them randomly find people to bless? We can touch the lives of those we don't know everyday by a Random Act of Kindness.  Imagine if 1 out of 5 people who read my blog would do this what an impact we could have on this day (Valentine's Day). Remember, this day doesn't bring joy to all.  A widow who just lost their spouse, an abused person, a homeless person, an orphan, a person who is homebound. Who can you think of blessing with one of these? Somedays these Random Acts of Kindness can make a world of difference for somebody.  Have you ever had a day you wished somebody did something special for you?

Metal Embossed Nugget Tin and Metal Sheet Questions Answered....

I am so glad you have enjoyed both the 1st issue of Valentines Extravaganza and this week's posts. Wait until you see what I have in store for next week.  I will be back and posting from my studio on Monday.  At this point that sounds wonderful. My legs feel like they are going to fall off.  I think I need a vacation from vacation to recover. LOL.  Have you ever felt like that or is it just me?  My kids are exhausted, too.

Today I would like to show you how to add a little dazzle with metal to your nugget tin.  This nugget tin follows the same procedure as the normal ones you make.  The only difference is that you will use White Staz-On to stamp on the word "Love You Much".  I love how easy it is to see where I am stamping plus it was much easier to carry in my luggage as the room it took up was minimal.  The lid of the box will be decorated using Metal Embossed Butterflies.  Isn't this beautiful?  The part I love the most is that with the "Well Scripted" stamp set Stampin' Up! is carrying in their mini occasions catalog, you can adapt your tin box to any occasion with the other 5 sentiments.  Choose from: Wonderful Mother, Dear Father, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter, Love Your Much, and Congratulations.  I am loving this nugget tin.  It is so easy to make. How about buying metal sheets in your favorite colors and precutting the butterflies and storing them in a small container for whenever you need them?  Very easy and a dazzling Valentine's gift for teachers, friends, coworkers etc. in no time at all.  Actually these butterflies are great for all occasions.

Questions about Metal Sheets

1. How much do the metal sheets weigh? The sheets are 40 gauge.

2.  Are the edges of the metal sheet sharp?  No, the edges are not sharp.

3.  Why kind of sanding block do you use?  I use a regular Stampin' Up! sanding block.

4. How much comes in a pack? 4 sheets (9" x 12") and the rolls come in a 12" x 36" sheet. 

5. Can you make a sample pack that you can sell us?  Yes, I can.  I just need to see how much interest there is among my readers, and I will put one together and let you know the cost.

6.  Do you ship internationally?  Yes, I do ship internationally.  Please note that when you place an international order there is no shipping cost added.  The reason is because I have to take your package to the post office to get weighed to figure out the cost.  Once I have this number, I will contact you and tell you the cost for shipping.  I ONLY ship Priority with insurance for international orders.  The average cost for shipping internationally right now is between $25-$30.  It all depends on weight and destination.  I honestly recommend getting together with friends to place a larger order to make it worth your money for shipping.

7.  Why the cost for shipping within the United States?  My goal is to deliver your metal sheets to you in the same condition in which they left my studio.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a least expensive way in which the sheets will not be damaged.  Sending your package in a flat rate box via Priority Mail is the best option right now. It allows us to fill it with stuffing and protect it from damage. When you see how thin the metal sheets are, you will see why this is the best method.  The huge savings in shipping comes when you place a bigger order.  Why not get an order together with a fellow demonstrator or get orders from your customers and combine it all so the cost for shipping goes down?

8.  How do I post a comment to be part of the contest?  At the end of my post, right underneath my siggy you will see where it states at what time I posted.  Keep reading and you will see the words "Comments".  It is the second to last.  Click on "Comments" and you will write your comment and follow the instructions given.

Manhattan Flower Business Card Holder

 Good Morning Stampers,

I am so glad to hear you are loving the metal projects along with the Disney Autograph books.  When I put pictures in it next week, I will give you a peek into the finished product.  My youngest son is so excited to have his own scrapbook, my oldest is excited that I made the project for him, and my daughter just loves SnowWhite.  My husband and I will have our own digital scrapbook to remember these special moments with our kids. 

Today I am sharing a sneek peek of an upcoming project that will be featured in my Add a Little Dazzle on Metal Newsletter that will be released on January 28th.  If you didn't get in during the 3 month FREE trial subscription, I will provide you with more details on signing up for this amazing newsletter filled with tip and two projects next week.  This project is amazingly beautiful and is a great item in which to carry your business cards.  Not only do you need to have dazzling projects, but you also need to have a dazzling business card holder to carry your business cards in.  You know you have an image to keep? Two Posts Today:Beautiful Metal Embossed Butterflies and Princess Autograph Book

Princess Autograph Book and Another Post!

Good Morning Stampers,

Hope you are all doing well.  We are doing great except for the fact that I feel like my legs are going to fall off my body (LOL).  Even my little baby girl says her legs hurt.  We had a great time and are taking a day to go around town and see what there is and then we are off to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow.  It brings me such great joy to see my children's excitement while getting on the rides, seeing the characters, and just enjoying this time together. Yesterday during the parade, my daughter and I just jumped, danced, and sung together.  How I wish I could freeze these special moments forever! The great thing is that I will create my own Disney Scrapbook using  My Digital Studio to remember these special days with my family forever!  Can't wait to share that with you.

I am glad to hear that you all loved the Mickey Autograph Book.  What do you think of the Disney Princess Book?  I absolutely love it because it is perfect for a girl. It is so delicate but so perfect.  In this book I used the 6" x 6" packs of Designer Series Pack, but I also used some of the designer series paper from the Build-a-Bear DSP pack.  It was perfect!  Check out this ribbon!! I love it!! Disney Character Autograph Book and More......

Good Morning Stampers,

Hope everybody is doing well. Today's post comes to you from Florida.  This year we decided to gift our children with a trip to DisneyWorld as their Christmas gift. Due to scheduling conflicts, we had to wait until after the holidays but it is great as the lines are fast.  The only thing I am not enjoying is this cold weather in Florida.  I grew up in Florida and I have to tell you this is not your usual Florida weather. 

Today I want to share one of the dazzling autograph books I created for my children.  I have to tell you I had the employees and tourists at Epcot Center asking me where I got it.  They were loving it and asking me for information on getting their own copy, so I handed out my business card (LOL).  With the exception of the Mickey Mouse paper plate, this amazing autograph book was created using ALL Stampin' Up! product.  Do you have packs of the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Packs you get as a Hostess Level 1 gift and have no idea what to do with it? Well, here is a perfect way to use it up.  I had so many packs of these OLD and CURRENT.  I combined it all and came out with this beautiful autograph book. 

As you can see from this picture, the left side is for the Disney Character autograph and the right hand side is where I will place a picture of each child with the Disney Character that autographed that page.  I am so excited and know that it will look MORE DAZZLING once the pictures are in it.  Another thing I love about this album is that you can use it as a mini scrapbook for a themed birthday party.  All you have to do is change the image on the cover.  I made one for my daughter in Pretty in Pink with the Disney Princess'.  I will share that one with you tomorrow.

Happy New Year, Exciting News, and Winner!

 Happy New Year Stampers!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends.  We had a wonderful time on Christmas morning as we shared the excitement of Santa coming and the opening of presents.  The small kids loved it and our oldest helped prepare for the excitement his young siblings would experience.  I wish I could freeze that day forever. Although I enjoyed the holiday season, I am so glad that busy time of year is over.  I promised myself a stress free holiday season and somehow that didn't happen.  Sound familiar? 

Today, I wanted to share some exciting news with you.  Many of you expressed how much you loved my 12 Weeks of Christmas and hated to see that end.  Well, I am not going anywhere.  This week kicks off the beginning of my Valentine's Extravaganza.  This follows the same concept as my 12 Weeks of Christmas except you will now receive weekly newsletters geared towards Valentine's Day.  If you are not subscribed to receive my newsletter, go over to the left hand side bar where you will see this image, type in your email address where indicated, and you will be added to my list.
