Good Morning Stampers,
Wow, I am so touched by each of your responses about the Random Acts of Kindness. I am so encouraged to know that many of you will be doing this. What a great impact we can each make if we reach out in our community. We have decided that we will make our family Valentine's Day cards for children at Ronald McDonald's House. I know this will be a great experience for the children as they will learn more about giving. Our goal is to continue doing activities such as these with our children. I especially love the suggestion that was made about carrying some cards in your purse and just randomly giving them out. We are going to do that, too. I can't wait to hear how each of you reach out in your own community and the impact you make. Please make sure to share.
Today I am sharing a card I made for my wonderful husband. I made this card for his birthday but this card is perfect for Valentine's Day. Look at the beautiful hearts on the card front! Can you see the gorgeous metal underneath it? This card is amazingly beautiful and showcases the I {Heart} Hearts Stamp Set and metal sheets. The picture shown to the right showcase how I used metal on the inside of the card. I love it! Many of you have asked about making cards with metal so here is the first of more to come. I hope you love it! I will be explaining this technique in this week's release of the Add a Little Dazzle on Metal Newsletter. Keep on reading to the end for more details!
Did you know that for every I {Heart} Heart Stamp Set sold through February 28, 2010, Stampin' Up! will be donate $2 to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund? The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
The devastation that Haiti has faced is incomprehensible and this is a perfect opportunity for all of us to join in the efforts to raise funds for the people of Haiti. If you would like to place an order for this stamp set, please go to the Order Online Button on the upper right hand corner of my blog and place your order there. Together we can make a difference!
