Good Afternoon Stampers!
The clock is ticking and Christmas is almost here. I still have teacher gifts to make and very little time. I have made several gifts for them and have spread them out during a 2 week period. My children's teachers are the most amazing teachers they have ever had and the small gifts are only a small token of my appreciation for all the love they have for my children. The kids will be getting out of school this Friday and so I have four days to finish their teacher's gifts. Does this sound like you? Are you running around like a chicken with your head cut off like me? Well, let me share this amazing gift that will help relieve your stress level. This gift is not only perfect for a teacher, but for a colleague or neighbor.
I love to make chocolate covered pretzels for Christmas, but this year I have no time. While I was at my local store checking out the candy aisle, I found a tin of chocolate covered pretzels. I thought this is great but I didn't like the packaging. It wasn't eye appealing and I believe presentation is just as important.
Here is a picture of the original container. Not very eye appealing, huh? I started thinking about what to do with it and it hit me. Take some metal tin and emboss it!!! Yes, yes, yes. I quickly threw two of these tins into the cart and went home to work on my idea. I LOVE IT! It is absolutely beautiful and the recipient will think you spend all day in the kitchen. I created this gift in less than 15 minutes. Honestly this was way too easy to make. This tin cost $5 each and with some dazzle I turned an ordinary gift into an extraordinary gift with a lot of dazzle in no time at all. I am going back to the store tonight to buy enough for friends, neighbors, and teachers. The amount of time I save makes it all worthwhile.
Would you like to make some of these? No problem. Here is a list of what you need. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at monica@addalittledazzle.com. Also, don't forget to check your email for Week 11 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas. I think this is one of my favorite packaging idea. Run to your inbox and check it out. Don't forget to leave me a comment and tell me what you think of Week 11 and this project. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Monica, the pretzel tin looks amazing! What a difference. Your tiles and box were also a great gift. I can't believe there's only one more Week of Christmas Newsletter.

I LOVE what you did with the tin- the metal sheet on there is gorgeous! And the coasters in the box easily like something you'd buy in a store- beautifully done!

Monica how different you make the Pretzels look, much more elegant. I loved your 12 weeks of Christmas this week, I only wished that it had come sooner so that I could have ordered the supplies, unfortunately it is too late now to have them in time for Christmas. Talking about a chicken with it's head cut off...here's what I have left to do yet...make 8 Candles, make 8 of your Dasher Nugget Boxes, Make 8 of the Glitter Glass Ornaments and the Boxes to put them in, make 8 Gift Tag boxes with 6 sets of gift tags to go in each box. Make all of my Christmas Cards and get them sent out. No, I don't feel any pressure, not yet, and besides it all I am suffering from a terrible Sinus Infection which I am on Antibiotics for and they knock my socks off and put me to sleep. Who do you think is working around the clock. Oh, I totally forgot...I have 8 sets of 6 Coaster Tiles to make also. How far am I...well I have my gift tags all stamped out, just need to punch them out and then make the bottom and top of the boxes and that project will be done. I hope to finish that one by noon tomorrow. I have put myself on a very tight schedule here. I hope that nothing messes it up. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I have yet to try the metal sheets but will in the near future. I will be ordering so I can try them out. These butterflies are beautiful..I am thinking of possibly using the pink to cut the Hope ribbon. When cut is the edge rough or smooth? What do you think?
