I am so excited to share with you today's creation. I have created a really "cool" DVD Box for that special teenager. You also have an awesome matching card and an amazing gift tag. I absolutely love this set and hope my teenage son will too. I can't wait to give it to him tonight.
Today's project uses the same template and layouts from my Snow Swirled Christmas Planner. As you can see from this picture, I created an awesome DVD gift box to put a movie in. We all love to give DVD movies and WII games. Well, this is the perfect box for those gifts that need a little bling to make it an even more amazing gift. How many times do we just throw the DVD movie in a bag and call it good? Not anymore. Give the gift of a movie with some style and have the recipient wow over the box as much as the gift. You can even use this box to give a book or journal. How about changing up the paper and put some onesies in it for a baby shower? As you can see this DVD Box can be used once the holidays are over. Change the designer series paper, stamp, and occasion and create a dazzling look for any occasion. What a great way to say goodbye to those store bought bags and hello to a dazzling box.
As you can see from this picture, this is my Snow Swirled Christmas Planner. One of the great features of my planners is their versatility. As you can see, I created two projects using ONE planner. You are not limited to one ocassion. This versatility is a great feature as your customers will want to attend your class to learn this technique that they will be able to use over and over again. Also, you don't have to spend time on creating a class. It is all done for you. Just order a planner, order materials , cut all materials, promote your class, and you are set to go. A promotional flyer is included so all you have to do is type in your information and class date and time. No designing time for you. Just get to business right away.
If you are a customer, maybe you don't want to create a Christmas DVD Box but you want to create a DVD box for a man's birthday. No problem, pick the designer paper of your choice and create that dazzling look you have in mind. This DVD box is a one-of-a-kind design of mine that you can only find on my blog. This box is easy to make and you can put one together in under 10 minutes with two sheets of cardstock, 1 sheet of designer series paper, and your stamp and accesories of choice that will include a matching card and gift tag. When have you ever been able to go to the store and find a gift bag and card that are a perfect match? Never. Well, from now on ALL will match. LOL
Look at this awesome card. As you can see, I took the same layout as the Snow Swirled Christmas Card and gave it a completely different look. I still used ribbon, but since this card is for a young teenage boy I didn't want to tie a bow. The images are stamped with Basic Black Craft Ink and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder. I used an Impressions Plate for the top background, added some Brushed Silver Cardstock, and rhinestone brads. I also popped it up with some Stampin' Dimensionals and of course added a matching envelope. The only thing I didn't do was add Dazzling Diamonds. Can you believe I made something without Dazzling Diamonds. I really shocked myself and love the card.
Look at this birthday tag. I am loving it so much! I heat embossed the image with silver embossing powder, cut out the image, and used some Stampin' Dimensionals to make it all pop out. I love it! Oohh!! Did you see the embossed JUMBO EYELET? I covered the jumbo eyelet with Versamark Ink, dipped it in silver embossing powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. I love it!! I also heat embossed the splashed image with black embossing powder. I think I am going to create a gift card holder with this set. I love it and think it is perfect for a teenage birthday or occasion. You can even add a little Christmas hat to the rocker and have a cool looking DVD gift box for the holidays. My husband said to make this in Melon Mambo, Basic Black, and Whisper White for a perfect girly look. Would you all like to see that? If so, please email me and I will create a female version of all these projects.

What a great idea. The box looks great and it's really manly. What a great gift for a young man. Black and silver are favorite and great colors for young men. All the projects are awesome and well coordinated. I love it. I would do this project for my sons. Happy Birthday Kevin. What a great card, tag and box.

Monica your blog is one of my favorites to visit. You do outstanding work, I love the rocker on the set you made. I'm sure your Son loved it.
I've been wanting to see some creations with the sweet treat cups. I just think they are too cute. But I'm not sure what I would do with them.

Your DVD boxes are great. I love the tag you made for this one.
How about a Thanksgiving project? I always have trouble coming up with Thanksgiving ideas.

I loved your idea for a teenage boy. I have your Snow Swirled Christmas Planner, yet never looked at it in that way before. Thanks for opening my eyes. I think that it might be cute for some "tween" girls, but I don't know how many would come to a class just for it. If you would like to do it, I say give it a go. If you are stretched for time, move on. This one is fantastic, and I am sure that we can all adapt it to girlie colors if we wanted to. I love what you did to the eyelet, really like how that turned out. Your embossing is amazing, did you used the Encore Silver Pad before the EP? It looks so smooth and silky. How did you get it that way? I really like the colors that you chose, can't go wrong with those for a boy, and personally, those colors pretty much fit a rockstar girl too. At least the ones that I have seen. You are just awesome, I know that I have said that in the past, but it is so true. You keep coming up with these new and fresh ideas all of the time. Maybe we should present you with some kind of award. Thanks for always being there for us, Monica. I for one appreciate it. Have a happy stamping day!

I love the "matchbox dresser drawer" boxes where it's a box that holds 6 or 12 matchboxes in sections of 3, side by side. They look like they'd make great advent calendars. I'd really like to see you do one of those.
