Look at this gorgeous candle! I am so loving it! It is absolutely gorgeous in person and so elegant. This candle is perfect for everyday decor in your home or for an upcoming wedding. Wouldn't these be beautiful accent pieces all around your home? I am going to place them in strategic places around my house. I am even thinking about embossing an eggplant color to make a gorgeous candle trio for my bathroom. I think it would look gorgeous and very relaxing to light up while soaking in the jacuzzi tub. That is if my 2 small children don't jump in, too. (LOL)
Today's project uses the same technique I used to create the candle in my Dasher Christmas Planner. As you can see from this picture, I created a beautiful candle in time for the holidays. When the holidays are over, I can change the shell and create a different look for my next occasion. Talk about saving money on candles.
One of the great features of my planners is their versatility. The projects I create are not limited to one ocassion but are interchangeable to whatever your need is. Maybe you don't want to create a candle like this for the holidays but you want to create a generic one to give as a gift. You can do that! As you saw from yesterday's chocolate box, I changed the paper and came up with a fancy looking box. This candle is beautiful and inexpensive to make. I searched my clearance aisles and found this beautiful candle holder for under $3 and purchased my candle for 50% off and have now created a beautiful gift for under $10. Oooh!! Look at the beautiful detailed ribbon and pearl halfback I added to complete a dazzling look.

The candle is gorgeous! Is it OK to burn like that, or is the embossing on thin metal or something? So pretty!

You refer to a shell, does that have to be removed to burn the candle? I am interested in the planner but want to know how that works first.
