I want to let you know that I have not fallen off planet earth.  The last round of sickness didn't want to leave our household and decided to stick around for another 2 weeks.  This time the sick person was me.  Ughh!! I have had the worst allergies any human being could ever have.  I kept on trying to function but my body couldn't handle it.  I finally had to listen to it and slow down.  I went to the doctor twice for shots to help because it was so severe and the last shot finally helped.  To top it off, I had severe migraine headaches that required me to lay down because the light hurt my eyes so bad.  Slowly but surely I am getting my strength back and hope to get to feeling 100% better soon.

Today, I want to share with you a sample of one of the 3D items that will be in my Christmas Planner that will be released next week. Originally, I had planned on making a treat box but it just didn't work out so I got to thinking about what to make and remembered a box I had created in March 2009 that never made it to a planner.  I played around with the measurements and came up with this dazzling creation.  I love the finished product! 

This box is a one-of-a-kind that was created by me and and is perfect for packaging DVD movies or video games that we love to give during the holidays. I am so glad to be posting again.  I have missed sharing my creations with you.  Thanks to all who have sent their well wishes for my family and my daughter with the "bee sting" incident.  We are all doing better now.  Hopefully we will stay this way for a long time.

I am so excited that you all enjoyed seeing the mini purse. The response has been great. I am doubly excited to share the bigger version of the mini purse.  I love it!! It is so pretty, feminine, and dazzling! Dazzling Purse-O-Nality Mini Purse

I want to thank each of you for continuing to visit my blog during my short absence.  The day of my last post my daughter got the stomach flu and was fighting it for over a week.  She couldn't keep anything down and just pretty much laid around the entire time.  Then, in the midst of that my oldest son and I got sick. I was pretty much laying on the couch non-functional.  Just when we all started getting better, my daughter got  stung by a bee and we had to rush her to the ER.  My baby could only show me her finger and cry and scream "buggy".  I felt horrible!  I am deadly allergic to bee stings and since this was bee sting we didn't know what kind of reaction she would have so we played it safe and took her to the ER.  She has been so traumatized by the sting that she wakes up from a dead sleep screaming "buggy, buggy".  All is well now but I am now trying to play catch up on my work and some days it feels like I will never get caught up.  Anyway,  all catalogs have been mailed out and should be in your mailboxes today or Monday at the latest.  I have 3 catalogs left and have already placed an order for more.  If you would like a FREE catalog, please email me at monica@addalittledazzle.com and send me your phone number and best time to reach you so I can get your mailing information.

I am so excited to share with you today's post.  This is a dazzling mini purse I created using Stampin' Up's! new designer series paper Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper.  I absolutely think this paper is dazzling!  It uses the new in-colors and the ideas with this paper are endless.  I created this purse using Rich Razzleberry Cardstock for the base and bought some pearl strands and wire to create the handle.  I think the pearls adds a dazzling touch. Check out the dazzling button I created using Build-A-Brad.  I have never played with my pack of Build-A-Brads and I absolutely love them because you can create a matching button for all your projects. 

You would be absolutely surprised to know how easy this purse is to create.  Hmmm!!! What can we put in this purse?  How about some earrings? Chocolate?  Bracelet?  Money? Keys to a new car? You get the idea.  This is the perfect way to give somebody that special gift or as a party favor.  I even have a big version of this purse that is dazzling.  It even includes matching cards.  I would love to hear from you if you are interested in a full tutorial for this purse and all the extras. I will be offering it as part of a full tutorial next week that includes a big purse that doubles as a card holder and gift bag along with 8 matching cards. I promise you will be surprised to see what I used to create this purse and how easy it was to make and you will want to make them for different occasions.  Might I add the bigger version is dazzling!
