Good Morning Stampers!
I want to let you know that I have not fallen off planet earth. The last round of sickness didn't want to leave our household and decided to stick around for another 2 weeks. This time the sick person was me. Ughh!! I have had the worst allergies any human being could ever have. I kept on trying to function but my body couldn't handle it. I finally had to listen to it and slow down. I went to the doctor twice for shots to help because it was so severe and the last shot finally helped. To top it off, I had severe migraine headaches that required me to lay down because the light hurt my eyes so bad. Slowly but surely I am getting my strength back and hope to get to feeling 100% better soon.
Today, I want to share with you a sample of one of the 3D items that will be in my Christmas Planner that will be released next week. Originally, I had planned on making a treat box but it just didn't work out so I got to thinking about what to make and remembered a box I had created in March 2009 that never made it to a planner. I played around with the measurements and came up with this dazzling creation. I love the finished product!
This box is a one-of-a-kind that was created by me and and is perfect for packaging DVD movies or video games that we love to give during the holidays. This box is versatile for any occasion. Just change the paper and you can create a different dazzling look. This year Add a Little Dazzle to your gift and wrap it up in this amazing gift box. The top of the box flips open so the entire box stays together. All you have to do is slip off the bow and you can open the box without undoing the bow.
How about this dazzling gift tag? I love it, love it!! It was so easy to make this dazzling gift tag using the Big Shot. This tag adds the perfect touch to this dazzling box. I even added a little dazzle with dazzling diamonds to give it a bling, bling look.
The Christmas Planner will not only include directions and measurements for this box but it will also include directions for the matching greeting card, tag, and home decor item. You will love this planner as it screams ooohh it's so dazzling!
Here is a side view of the DVD Box so you can see how it comfortably holds a dvd or video game. How about changing it up and filling it with some baby onesies? How about for a child's birthday adding a coloring book and some crayons? How about making a mini scrapbook and packaging it in this beautiful box? Whatever you choose to do with this box, one thing is for sure and that is that the recipient will love it. Just imagine all the oohing and aahing you will hear as others see this beautiful packaging.
What do you think? Leave me a comment and tell me what you think. I will choose a winner and the winner will win this box along with a FREE Christmas Movie. How about that for getting you into the Christmas spirit? So leave me a comment and be entered for a chance to win this dazzling dvd box with a movie. You have until Friday, July 31, 2009 midnight to enter. Best wishes!!
Before I go I would like to announce the winner of the Dazzling Purse-O-Nality Planner. The winner of the planner for July 15th's posting is............. Shanna B. Congratulations Shanna!! Please email me at monica@addalittledazzle.com so I can send you your FREE Dazzling Purse-O-Nality Planner.

What a great idea! I hate just giving folks a dvd wrapped up for a present. Its so obvious what it is and it just doesn't feel like much effort. But to give it in a box like this would really make a difference. :)

Hi Monica,
What a wonderful idea for a gift box and tag. Thanks for shareing both as well as offering one as a prize. Hmm...Christmas movie...my favorite genre next to sci fi. Can't wait to see what you include. But then anything arriving in this box would be special! Hugs and hope you continue to improve - Jean Fitch
