Sweet Nothings Planner and Class

Hi Stampers!  I am so excited to show you this month's planner.  This flipbook was inspired by the two wonderful flipbooks that are out there.  I wanted to take the flipbook and make it one that could hold more than 10 pictures and so the MEGA FLIPBOOK was born. In my version of the flipbook you can hold 20 pictures.  The MEGA FLIPBOOK has 4 additional double-sided panels that open to display your beautiful pictures.

Quick Easter Gift

Hi Stampers!  Hope you are all doing well and getting ready for Easter.  I am excited to spend the day with family and as always enjoy seeing the excitement on my 3 kid's face as they open their Easter Baskets.  We are spending Easter with family and friends. We always give the kids something little and thanks to my Pastor's wife she helped inspire this idea. 

Run over to Walmart or Target and pick up these cute little buckets for a dollar, buy a bag of grass, clear plastic bags, tisssue paper, and chocolate Easter eggs and you are set to go.  I love how easy this was to make and the WOW factor in its presentation.  WARNING!!!! These are addicting to make.

I will have a boy's version coming up!! I have 2 boys of my own so I know you are probably saying I can't give this to a boy it has flowers.  Don't despair!! You will love the boy's version of this cute gift.

Directions:

1.  Take a 5" x 11.25"  clear treat bag and stamp with flowers using white stazon.  Make sure to stamp both sides and on the inside of the side creases.

2.  Use chocolate chip ink and stamp the chick on whisper white cardstock.  Color the chick with so saffron ink and pumpkin pie for the beak.

3.  Use a 2-way glue pen for the egg and add a little dazzle with dazzling diamonds. Look at the close up picture below.

4.  Punch out the chick using the small tag punch and use the large tag punch to punch out a certain celery tag.  Adhere the tags and punch a small hole using the 5/16" handheld punch and thread with linen thread.

5.  Take a piece of tissue paper and make it into a ball and place inside the bucket.  Fill with grass and put your chocolate Easter eggs on the grass.

6.  Put your bucket inside the stamped  and tie with a 17 1/2 " ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration (handle must be down in order to be able to tie).

7.  Take your tag and tie it to the ribbon and cut off any excess twine.

8.  You're done! You now have a dazzling Easter gift!

Birthday Pop-Up Card!

Hi Stampers!  Sorry for absence.  The family and I have been sick again.  There is a  bug going around Taos and half the town is sick with severe sinus infection and we were one of the families that was blessed by it.  My kids got it and then my hubby and I got it at the same time soooooo you can only imagine how that is with all your kids sick and both my husband and myself out of commision. 

Anyway, I am back and I would like to share this card I made for a Stamp-a-Stack last year in Arizona.  I absolutely love this card and the ease in making it.  It is definitely a favorite and just imagine a loved one opening this card that pops up open and can sit on a table all by itself.

Oooh!! Might just have to try this same card technique with "A Good Egg" stamp set.  Wouldn't that make a cute Easter card?
