Welcome to another week at Add a Little Dazzle.  I can't believe how fast this year is going by.  Can you believe tomorrow is Valentine's Day?  Where did the time ago?  I am excited about Valentine's Day as I have made some gifts for my family that I will share with you tomorrow.  Some include My Digital Studio and others just a combination of ideas for the kids.  These are easy gifts that you can create year 'round while staying on a budget.  We still have some projects to work on today so we will see how it goes.

   

Today I would like to share with you the "You are Such a Blessing Butterfly Metal Embosssed Card". This card was created using the Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set and some fun Impressions Folders, Dies, and Embosslits.   I started this card by creating a frame for the main image with the Framed Tulips Impressions Folder and Bronzed God Metal Sheet.  After I embossed the image, I sanded the frame to create a beautiful elegant look with the silver coming through the colored metal.  I mounted it onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and framed the main image with Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.  The center part of the card was embossed with the Elegant Lines Impressions Folder and I added Hot Pink Diamond Metal Sheet butterflies to add a touch of bling.  Then, I created a Very Vanilla tag with the "Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set"   and added a little more bling around the embossed image.  This card is simple yet elegant to create and can be created for any occasion you choose.

Blessings from Heaven Metal Embossed Card...

Good Morning Dazzling Divas,

Welcome to the Sunday edtion of Add a Little Dazzle.   Today I would like to share a card I created for  friends of ours who lost their baby boy two years ago this week.  As many of you know, we lost our first daughter Jackie almost nine years ago two days after she was born. It was the most difficult time in our lives and it would have been easy to be mad at God. My husband and I had only been married 7 months and lost our baby when she was 6 months old. We had to make a choice to not be mad at God and find our comfort in Him.  During this journey, we have learned to "Cast our burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain us." Psalms 55:22   I am not going to lie and say it is easy.  There are times of sadness but the truth is nothing can change our reality and God is our ONLY strength.  After our loss, my husband and I have met so many couples who have faced the same devastation we did.  Because we know how deep the pain is we reach out to these families and are just there to cry with them and listen to them.  There is nothing we can say and do to make it better but we are there.  As the years go by, people move on with their lives and that date is forgotten but it is never forgotten by the parents.  The time after is just as important and so we call them and/or send them a card to let them know we remember.  This week we will give this card to the parents of Alejandro to let them know we remember and care.  I know we can't make things better but I hope this card lets them feel how much we love them and share in their pain.

   

Today I would like to share with you the "Blessings from Heaven Metal Embosssed Card". This card was created using the Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set and the new Mixed Bunch Stamp Set.  I really struggled with this card as I wanted it to reflect tranquility and richness and so I used Rich Razzleberry and Crumb Cake as the main color combination.  In order to keep with this color combination, I added Bronzed God Metal Sheet for the background and a touch of Poison Ivy Metal Sheet for the leaves.  The green adds the perfect touch of color.  Have you seen the new Pleated Satin Ribbon in the new occasions catalog?  I love this ribbon and wish it was available in all colors.  The great thing is that with Stampin' Up! Classic Ink you can easily change the color of the ribbon.  I used Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink and love the way it turned out.  After I stamped the flower image three times on cardstock, I used the new Blossom Punch to punch out two flowers and the 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out the center.  I assembled them with Stampin' Dimensionals and attached them on top of the beautiful Poison Ivy Metal Sheet leaves I created with the Blossoms Petals Builder Punch.

  

I wanted to decorate my envelope and so I stamped the flower image in Rich Razzleberry and then stamped the Bible Verse included in the stamp set to the front of the envelope. I thought this Bible Verse from the Blessings from Heaven Stamp Set is perfect.  After I stamped the envelope, I spritzed it with the Color Spritzer with a Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker.

I {Love} Love Metal Embossed White Tin Valentine's Office Ensemble...

Welcome to Wednesday at Add a Little Dazzle. I am really excited about today's project which is a great gift for a teacher this Valentine's Day.  I absolutely love this little office ensemble as it looks dazzling on a desk and helps get you in the mood for Valentine's Day.  Besides this dazzling tin I love the heart shaped paper clips. Today I would like to share with you the "I {Love} Love Metal Embosssed White Tin Valentine's Office Ensemble". This office ensemble was created using the new Hearts Collection Framelits Dies and the beautiful Pleated Satin Ribbon found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  This tin was covered with Barn Red Metal Sheets embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder.  I wanted to create a dramatic effect to the metal and so I sanded it to let the silver come through.  I also added the beautiful new Blushing Bridge Pleated Satin Ribbon to the outside and inside of this large white tin.

  

I wanted to be able to show the recipient exactly what they were receiving and so I created a mini tag and cut a slit in it to attach the "Heart Shaped Paper Clip" I made.  Isn't this dazzling?  This was so easy to make and in today's tutorial you too can learn how to make your own "Heart Shaped Paper Clips".  I wanted to go with a Valentine's Day motif and so I created my paper clips in pink, red, and white.  I absolutely love them.   

 

 I created a metal embossed insert to separate the Heart Shaped Paper Clips from the Heart Shaped Sticky Notes.  Aren't these cool?  I used the Hearts Collections Framelits Dies to create these one-of-a-kind heart shaped sticky notes. I created these Sticky Notes in pink, red, and white.  I absolutely love this gift as it is perfect for an office companion and your child's teacher.  Heck! This is even perfect for you.  The stamped images I used in this project were from My Digital Studio.  I love that I am able to resize them just the way I want them for my projects.  I created this office ensemble with our new White Hinged Tins available at the Add a Little Dazzle Store.  All orders received by 2 pm. I {LOVE} Love White Tin Mini Scrapbook Album & More...

Welcome to Tuesday at Add a Little Dazzle. We are excited to have you visit us today.  I am really excited to share today's project with you which is a mini scrapbook album.  I absolutely love little mini scrapbooks as they perfectly fit in a purse to have as a brag book.  Today's project uses a variety of projects from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog, Mini Occasions Catalog, and the main Stampin' Up! catalog. Today I would like to share with you the "I {Love} Love White Tin Mini Scrapbook Album".  This mini scrapbook album was created using the new Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper found in the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  I also used the Adorning Accents Impressions Folder to create a small band with Barn Red Metal Sheet.   I wanted to add a soft yet elegant look and so I added the beautiful new Pleated Satin Ribbon found in the new Occasions Catalog to the tin. I didn't have the exact color I had in mind and so I dyed my ribbon with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Refill to add a rich red look to my ribbon.  The main color I used for the cardstock was Cherry Cobbler.  I thought it gave it the perfect rich look I was going for.  I didn't want the mini scrapbook to pop open and so I added some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.  I really love the look.  It is classy, yet simple. 

 

I wanted to add pictures but I didn't want to make the album busy and so I went for simplicity.  Every other panel in the mini scrapbook has designer series paper and the other panels have pictures in sephia. I love having my pictures printed in sephia or black and white as it allows for the look to be uniform without distracting the eye with the color elements found in the pictures but focusing on the subjects.  

 

 The pictures measure 1 7/8" x 3" and fit perfectly in the panels.  I included 9 pictures in my scrapbook album but if you wanted to fill each panel with a picture then you can fit 19 pictures.  The designer series paper area is perfect for journaling or any added mementos.  The stamped images I used in this project were actually from My Digital Studio.  I love that I am able to resize them just the way I want them for my projects.  I created this mini scrapbook for Valentine's Day for my mother but this is actually perfect for any time of the year. The designer series paper is versatile to fit numerous occasions and well "Love" is love.  It doesn't just have to be for Valentine's Day.

P.S. I Love You Metal Embossed Designer Cut Card & Blog Candy...

Welcome to Friday at Add a Little Dazzle.  We are so excited to be able to share a Valentine's Day card today using one of my new favorite products from the Occasions Mini Catalog "Designer Cuts Cards  & Envelopes Set". There is so much you can do with these amazing cards and today we are going to share our version of using this card Add a Little Dazzle style.

Today I would like to share with you the "P.S. I Love You Metal Embossed Designer Cut Card".  This card was created using the new Designer Cuts Cards & Envelopes Set accompanied with Scarlet Red Metal Sheets.  These cards are absolutely stunning as they are so elegant and can be created for numerous occasions beyond Valentine's Day.  As you can see, I have used Scarlet Red Metal Sheets in the back of the laser cut portion of the card. Not only did I add metal behind it but I created a technique to emboss the metal through the open sections so that the metal can beautifully come through the openings to create a breathtaking elegant look.  As you look at the card you will see portions of metal popping through.  This is a unique embossing technique using Laser Cut Cards that you will only find here at Add a Little Dazzle.  What a great way to incorporate metal sheets and Designer Cuts & Envelopes for your Valentine's Day cards this year.  The great thing is that you can choose any color of metal sheet we have at the Add a Little Dazzle Store to create a completely different look.  Then add a coordinating ribbon, cardstock, and sentiment to create the perfect look for numerous occasions long after Valentine's Day is over.  Of course, you can't forget the Rhinestone Jewels on the metal sheet to add a dazzling finishing touch.

Valentine's Day Metal Embossed Votive Candles, Blog Candy, & Winner...

Welcome to Wednesday at Add a Little Dazzle. Thank you for visiting us today.  We are excited to be able to share another Valentine's Day project with you today.  Today's project uses a variety of Embosslits and Sizzlits from Stampin' Up!  This is a great way to show all the dazzling creations you can create with the Big Shot and some metal tape sheets.  Enjoy!


Today I would like to share with you the "Valentine's Day Metal Embossed Votive Candles".  These votive candles were created using the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits  Die, Swirls Scribbles Sizzlits Die, and the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Medium Sizzlits Dies.  These embosslits are amazing and I LOVE that you can cut some dazzling pieces using Metal Tape Sheets found at the Add a Little Dazzle Store.   These Metal Tape Sheets are thinner than our colored metal sheets, but the dazzling feature is that they have adhesive on the back.  All you need to do is run it through the Big Shot with one of the amazing Sizzlits or Embosslits, peel the back, and attach it to your item.  As you can see, I took these pretty red votive candle holders and attached them easily to create these dazzling candle holders.  Maybe the romantic thing isn't for you.  How about filling them up with some candy, placing it in a cellophane bag, and creating a dazzling tag to accompany it?  This is even perfect for a wedding as a party favor or a votive candle.  Click on the link below and download your free pdf file tutorial.

Today I would like to share with you the "My Digital Studio Metal Embossed Desktop Calendar".  This desktop calendar was created using Rock Star Black Metal Sheets, Black & White Photos, My Digital Studio, and some dazzling Stampin' Up! accessories.  The base of this calendar was created using an 8" x 8" shadowbox.  I embossed a piece of Rock Star Black Metal Sheet for the background.  How did I emboss an 8" x 8" piece as it doesn't fit through the Big Shot?  It is a really cool technique that allows you to emboss areas that are bigger than what fit through the Big Shot.  Keep reading to find out more.

As you can see from the pictures above, each picture features a different month of the year.  This piece is very simple, but elegant.  I created this so it is versatile enough to give a man.  This is perfect for a birthday, Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, and will look beautiful on a desk.  The great thing is that you can change out the calendar every month without damaging the metal or glass as your calendar will beautifully adhere to the glass.  Then, next year all you need to do is give the recipient of this calendar another set of 12 pictures and they are ready to go.
